Reviews from the web

    • Excellent! Smart! Caring!

    • Most unprofessional doctor ever. Told my wife “you have Alzheimer’s, go home and make a decision as to whether or not you want to stay in your home.” Absolutely no empathy whatsoever. Two years later that office visit is still hurtful.

    • Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Jacobs and his office was not good. I was never even examined. I got jerked around for 3 years.

Turns out after all this time, I have MS along with other neurological damage from my TBI. I was not taken seriously. This office cost me precious time I can't get back. I would look elsewhere for a reliable Neuro office.

    • In March of 2008 I was FINALLY told I had MS, oxymoron I know. I was 32 & had been dismissed many times by DR's & was ready to get my life back as much as possible. Connie & Dr.Jacobs did just that by coming up w/ a plan together with me. I am to say the least a nontraditional patient. They, all of the office staff have always been there for me. Yes at times there are issues but I have had my quality of life maintained with their support. Now 12 years later I had a baby, maintained relationships & am able to care for my family.

At least give him & staff a chance, I did & have never regretted my choice.

    • I went to Dr Jacobs, for 7 years, and Connie Sterling. They were both great. The office staff was not very good. I could never get a hold of them or get a answer back. I really liked dr Jacobs and Connie, so sad I don’t go there anymore because I am from Ocala Florida, and my husband will not drive the distance. What a Bummer! Theresa Wright

    • I have MS and this doctor is caring and has helped me. I have been to others who treated me like I was something the dog dragged in , But Dr Jacobs and his staff are the best
  • LKR in Orlando, FL – Jul 29, 2018 - healthgrades
    • I took my mother in law who is 84 with memory issues to Dr Jacobs today I felt we were well cared for by Dr Jacobs and his staff. Our appt was for 2:30. We meet with the doctor 30 minutes later during which time history and vital signs had been taken by the nurse. The doctor did a verythorough review of past and present med issues, medications, plus a short mental status test. He gave us a medication to try and found the lowest price for the med for us too. No

Complaints and will return

  • New patient in Winter Park, FL – Jul 25, 2018 - healthgrades
    • Never met neurologist. Office staff was nice but communication was terrible. 5 phone messages left with no return call, over the course of 4 weeks. PA was described as "flighty" by the asst at the office. PA did seem a bit scattered, but it was highly unprofessional for staff to say. PAs are seriously overworked. Office needs more PA, ARNP or MD help to mange the # of pts they see. Office needs a complete makeover...get rid of the "Hope" room. Shouldn't take new pts until more help is hired.

    • Inexcusable lack of conscience and sense of responsibility to answer the phone or return calls. Office does not call in required rx refills after both pharmacy and patients try repeatedly month after month. Same for tests, procedures, etc. Dr never asks how r u doing. Doesnt seem to care. Just has his back to u while he fills in required ins info. What a mess!
  • Apopka, FL – Jul 26, 2017 - healthgrades
    • Problem migraine headaches. Given a 5 minute evaluation asked a few questions and told to get MRA done and bloodwork. Made a follow up appointment. Earliest appointment was 5 weeks later. MRA and lab work done within 2 days. Heard results at todays appointment (5 weeks later). Todays appointment 8:30 am, arrived 8:00am office closed. Office opened 8:15am. 9:00 am asked if doctor is there yet. No not yet. Dr. shows up at 9:20 am, worked all night. Think you would call your office!!!
  • Hono lulu in Clermont, FL – Dec 24, 2016 - healthgrades
    • Went to my first visit dr. Jacobs seems to be one of the best doctors I have ever met ..and I have dealt with many many.. intelligent. thoughtful.caring, very knowledgeable.. takes time to get all the correct information and has a wonderful background of Education and accomplishments.I am looking forward to working with him as my doctor for years to come.

    • The office never answers their phone even from drug companies, resulting in our running out of MS medications. The ARNP is a digbat and when and if we can get an appointment with dr Jacobs we wait over and hour while his less than hospitable office staff provide contradictory information than that provided by the physician
