  • Dr. Shannon was great. He no longer took patients who had not seen him for a year or so. Dr. Akmal was assigned to me in 2018. She was very inexperienced at drawing liquid from a soft tumor in my thyroid gland. She made several tries. During one of the tries I felt the needle hit something in the area she was attempting to drain the thyroid gland. I held my hand up to stop the procedure. I left without the gland being drained. I will not go back and told my family doctor not to recommend her.

  • Dr Akmal was not prepared for my exam. She would roll her eyes and make sounds when I asked a question. She seemed iritated that I had questions.
