- Long-Time Patient – Mar 19, 2020 - healthgrades
- I have been seeing Dr. El-Menshawi for 14+ years. I have been under the care of multiple psychiatrists through the years; and of those, I would rate Dr. El-Menshawi in the top one or two. He "gets it." I find him incredibly caring and understanding. When I have needed extra time or have needed an appointment on relatively short notice, he has always accommodated me. As for the comments from others about the office staff in 2017, I would agree there were definite customer-service issues at the time. But I believe it has since improved. During a phone call, I had experienced an issue with one office person ("med tech") who seemed more intent on sticking to procedures and blocking me than in being understanding. I came away in tears. I passed along my feedback to Dr. El-Menshawi that she perhaps needs add'l training and to be reminded that she is working in a psychiatrist's office, not a regular doctor's office. By my next visit, she had improved. But I am rating the doctor, not her.

- AWFUL EXPERIENCE!! Please do not go here. As if struggling with mental health issues isn't enough, one does not need a place that has no compassion, understanding of basic patient care, customer service or basic ethics. I wish I'd never, ever come here. They got me all mixed up on different psych meds, and kept switching my providers with inferior staff members. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED....Read other reviews before you decide.

- This doctor was great however I had heard a lot of things about this practice (as I am in the field) but thought it would not happen to me...well it did!! I made a comment to my husband while in the waiting room about the form I was to fill out and SAMINA the "office manager" came out like a guard dog and asked me to follow her to her office. My husband was dumbfounded as he wondered what had just happened. Well needless to say the castigation she thought she was going to give me fell flat. Run!

- The hostile, negative attitude and general unhelpfulness of the front office staff far outweighs the good care and treatment provided by the doctors.

- The office manager was extremely rude to me and would not let me see the doctor. She claimed I owed a $25 late fee from 6 months ago. I never received a bill for it and never made the appointment she claims i missed. They did not even have the right number on file. She claims she went to the back to discuss this with the doctor WHO REFUSED to see me. This doctor is money hungry for the mere fact that he would lose a patient over $25. I am absolutely appalled by the disgusting by their treatment
