Reviews from the web

    • I have to agree with all the negative comments here. Was thinking it might have been just me but reading the above statements made it very clear. He most certainly should not be practicing in such a prestigious facility. Cleveland Clinic Florida prides themselves in providing excellent patient care and experience. They should truly review patients satisfaction when it comes to this guy. He is extremely rude. Consistently talks over you when you are trying to explain your symptoms. How can he help you feel better if he doesn’t even listen to what your problems are??? He certainly doesn’t meet the Cleveland Clinic’s standard of care. Please All, do yourself a favor and just simply find another doctor. If your looking for symptom relief I can tell you that he will only aggravate your symptoms.

    • Came in to see Dr Villasuso in 2010 after my eardrums exploded on a flight from sinus pressure (I got sick during finals week), and immediately after sticking a long flashlight up my nose he said "it's probably cancer" and then SNAPPED at my mom for asking (nicely) if it's possible it could be some sort of sinus related infection instead. He said, "Do not interrupt me, I am a medical doctor and this is my diagnosis." He told us we should cancel my next semester of college and to schedule a biopsy at the front desk. Fast forward to receiving the biopsy results, after WEEKS of thinking I had CANCER, it turned out it was just infected adenoids and I needed antibiotics and to have them removed eventually. I went back to school and had my adenoids removed that next summer. It's now 2020 and I have no cancer and still can't believe this doctor is practicing medicine.

    • waited two hours , a patients time should be respected . Doctor seemed moody
  • Ft Lauderdale, FL – Aug 16, 2017 - healthgrades
    • Terrible bedside manner. I had basic questions and he was rude and condescending. This would have been more tolerable if he had solutions to my medical problems but he did not. He is the sort of doctor that should probably have another profession since he seems aggravated dealing with patients.

    • The doctor and his staff are not very good.Impossible to have a short talk with Doctor, refuses to take phone calls, and lost all compassion for seniors- find another doctor. The receptionists are rude and should be replaced which seems to happen a lot.

  • Helene – Nov 15, 2019 - healthgrades
    • Dr Vilasuso is a wonderful, kind and caring person. He listens to my concerns and explains his treatment in language I can understand rather than using medical terms. He is very professional and trustworthy.

    • I am writing this review on behalf of my friend Helen, a patient of Dr. Vilasuso for over 3 yrs. I have accompanied her on every visit & I can assure you our opinions of Dr. V. are one & the same. Dr. Vilasuso is just exceptional! He is knowledgeable, caring, professional, & compassionate. He spends quality time examining, listening, & explaining the best treatment options for pain management. Dr. V makes you feel at ease with his excellent bedside manner. His kindness & genuine sincerity are qualities so needed & appreciated by patients who are suffering with chronic pain.We have always been met with cordial & pleasant staff members at her appointments & we highly recommend Dr. Vilasuso!!

    • I had a neuro modulator permanently implanted and the pain relief is 95 to 100 percent. This is life changing. I thank Dr Vilasuso for his expertise and skill. Dr Vilasuso has my highest recommendation.

    • I simply don't recommend this Dr. He's taking more patients than he can humanly handle. My husband had an appointment for 10:00 A.M. today but, by 11:45,we were still waiting in the examining room. We had to leave and ask for the co-pay to be refunded to our credit card. His facilities are not what you would expect ;it is depressing, too many patients and few sitting spaces; dogs (any kind) are allowed in the facilities; personnel not too pleasant.
  • Charles Guzick in Tamarac, FL – Jun 13, 2018 - healthgrades
    • Dr. V is the best pain doctor I ever had. On my first visit I knew he was a GREAT DOCTOR WHO CARED ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. I had back and leg pain for over 15 yrs. Seeing him help a great deal. He was always caring and helpful.
  • Richard Martin in Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Mar 06, 2017 - healthgrades
    • Dr. Javier Vilasuso and Dr. Francisco Vilasuso saved my life! What more can I say? I just let everyone that suffers from chronic pain and don't feel like living anymore. Stop thinking that way because of all the other unqualified Doctors that have no idea what they are doing.. Dr Javier Vilasuso is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. Now located in Tamarac, FL. Next to University Hospital I'm medical building . I am finding his # now
